The title is a reference to the 11th of September attacks on the United States of America and implicates the US and not the Islamic extremists as the root cause of this apparent atrocity. American Imperialism can only be tolerated so far and once this has been realised, changes to America’s invasive foreign policy will have to occur. The Dragons Teeth Harvest (a metaphor taken from Greek mythology where dragon’s teeth are sown and germinate as undead warriors) is the inevitable return on US investment and an excellent critiquing of US foreign policy. This criticism is aimed particularly at the subsequent bombing of Afghanistan and the killing of tens of thousands in “clinical strikes” of a populace oppressed by a government helped to power and funded by the US. Was it not also American revolutionaries/heroes who sought to rid “their” land of foreign oppressors and gain independence by violent means including “terrorist” attacks upon their oppressors native state.
